"Into the Gayo Highlands"
Sijahtra, the world's rarest coffee comes from one of the most unique landscapes in South East Asia.
In the early summer of 2014, we travelled into the Gayo Highlands with Harrods' head buyer for tea and coffee and their PR team. The mission was to travel to the source and document the 100% natural process in which Sijahtra is made.
The following photos are of some of the amazing people we met along the journey, as well as the farmers who source the highly sought after beans.
